CHRIS STUSSY SHAKES UP THE CROATIAN ELECTRONIC SCENE AT ZAGREB OPEN
The Croatia capital - city of Zagreb has a tradition named Zagreb Open organized by the most recognizable local brand BSH Events. Besides parties in many stunning locations, every spring they gather thousands of dancers at the Maksimir Tennis Court, known as a place where in 1927 the first official Davis Cup match of the former Yugoslavia was played.
This April BSH Zagreb Open welcomed the Dutch high-in-demand underground music name Chris Stussy who took the party to a whole new level. A touring DJ, producer and “Up The Stuss” label boss emerging from Rotterdam at the top of his game visited Croatia for the 3rd time and brought his chart-topping hit “Desire”,putting smiles on the faces of many.
Euphoria on Stage
Chris was performing as a headliner, bringing so much ovation when he stepped on the stage in prime time. Right from the first song, the crowd went mental jumping and dancing to every move the Dutch star made - one thing is sure, they adored him! Joining him on the stage, we had the chance to witness the music masterclass from one of the most famous Slovenian DJs and producers named Aney F. who’s the brain behind the worldwide-praised tech-house and house label Innocent Music.
The day & night party experience in Zagreb started in the afternoon, right from 18:00 the first tracks were played by youngsters Francescu b2b Musceria. After that, we had the pleasure of enjoying the beats from experienced local artist Marin Biocic who delivered a proper warm-up drive before BSH’s international guests. The last slot of the night was reserved for Pablo Panda, the house music master plus main figure in the organization of BSH Events, and Yakka- one of the most perspective Croatia’s DJs and producers who recently got the award for the best Croatian DJ by regional “Nagrada Ambasador”.
BSH Events' Trailblazing Journey - From taking over iconic venues like the Central Fish Marketplace to orchestrating massive airport parties, BSH Events sets the stage for unparalleled experiences, marking their 11th year of shaping Southeastern Europe's electronic music scene!
Naming just a few previous events from this perspective team, BSH Events launched 2024 with a massive party during the 3rd World Biggest Carnival held in Croatia’s city Rijeka where they took over Central Fish Marketplace.
This was followed by a party in Zagreb’s Zonar Hotel and their 1st major event this year when they took over the “Franjo Tuđman” airport with London’s king of grooves East End Dubs. Of course, this was just the beginning of the year, continuing the breathtaking organization of events, first coming in May at Mokrice Castle in Slovenia withParisian Traumer.
After that, inJune we will dance at the out-of-this-world Roman Quarry for the 2nd edition of Gates Of Agartha welcoming Adriatique, Bedouin, Dixon, Seth Trolxer,Vintage Culture, and many others at two festival days in Istria Region, next to the border of Croatia and Italy. Another one already announced is coming in August when Zagreb will have the chance to dance with the heavily wanted British superstar Hot Since 82. Adding to this, many more 2024 events are planned and waiting to be announced.
